Megaride 2019 report On Sunday 23 June, the Rotary Club of Meriden, in association with the TOMCC (Triumph Owners Club) held their annual Motorcycle Megaride event at the Queens Head. Around 110 bikes visited the event, the majority riding in from Alcester. The weather was dry and just warm enough for all to enjoy a great time at the event. The Rotary Club likes to thank all those that attended the event, the stall holders and all those that helped in setting up and taking down the tents. The event raised around £1100 for the Air Ambulance, who also sold their raffle tickets on the day. There were stalls with flowers, teas and coffees, music by a local DJ and singing by The Firebirds. There were burgers to be had and exhibits of motorcycles old and new to be admired. You could even cuddle a rabbit.
